Tips for solving payment problems

If you are having trouble booking your subscription, it is likely because the payment method you used could not be charged by our system.

When purchasing a subscription, an invoice is generated and the charge is processed immediately. If the payment cannot be completed successfully, the booking process cannot be finalized.


Possible Reasons for Payment Failure

Typos in Payment Details

Please check your entered payment information carefully for:

  • Typos

  • Transposed or incorrect numbers


Insufficient Available Amount

Make sure that there is enough balance available on the payment method you attempted to use. Check the available amount on your card or account.


3-D Secure Authentication

Some credit cards require verification via 3-D Secure authentication. You can find more information here:


Blocked or Restricted Country

In some cases, credit cards can only be used in certain countries. Since our headquarters are located in Switzerland, transactions from some (mostly distant) countries may be restricted due to geocontrol or geoblocking.

Please contact your bank to verify which countries are permitted for your card.
