TLSv1.1 (Transport Layer Security Version 1.1) is an outdated encryption protocol.

Because this protocol is no longer considered secure and poses potential security risks, we have decided to discontinue support for TLSv1.1.

Modern web browsers have already stopped supporting this protocol some time ago.

What Does This Mean for Existing WEBKiosk Pages?

For the vast majority of your visitors, nothing will change. This update only affects users who are accessing your WEBKiosk with very old browsers, such as Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 10.

These users may see an error message instead of your WEBKiosk. Browsers that rely on TLSv1.1 currently account for approximately 0.8% of total internet traffic, meaning that around 99% of users are not affected.

What Should Affected Users Do?

If you or one of your readers encounters an error message, we strongly recommend switching to a modern browser.
Using outdated browsers is not only a compatibility issue but also a significant security risk.

Why Was TLSv1.1 Disabled?

We understand that this change may inconvenience a small number of users. However, disabling TLSv1.1 was necessary to ensure the security and reliability of WEBKiosks.
