The splashscreen needs to have a resolution of 2208 x 2208 pixels and needs to be saves as a PNG file. The important parts of your splashscreen (for example your logo) need be in the center and can only be in a square that has a size of 920 x 920 pixels. The rest of the splashscreen may be cut off, depending on the resolution and aspect ration of the mobile device.
