How to activate Apple Push notifications

To enable Apple push notifications for your Yumpu App, you need to activate the APNS settings within your APPKiosk configuration. Follow the steps below to complete the setup.


Open Your APPKiosk Settings

  • Log in to your Yumpu user account.

  • Navigate to the “My Appkiosks” tab.

  • Locate the APPKiosk entry you want to configure.


Access the Settings

  • Click the “Pencil icon” button.

  • Navigate to “App Information” tab.


Activate APNS

  • Navigate to the “Push Notifications” tab.

  • Click the “Push notifications” button.

You will then be prompted to provide the required authentication details.


Add the APNS Certificate and Private Key

You will need to add the following information:

  • APNS Certificate

  • APNS Private Key

These details can be obtained by opening the “.pem” file with a text editor. Please refer to this guide on how to create a ".pem" file on your Mac.

  • Open the .pem file on your computer.

  • Copy the text contained in the file.

  • Paste the corresponding sections into the APNS Certificate and APNS Private Key fields.

  • Click "Next."


Save Your Settings

  • Click Save and send to apply the changes.

Once completed, Apple push notifications will be activated for your Yumpu App.
