Tags play a crucial role in improving search results both within Yumpu and on external search engines. By using tags effectively, you can make your magazine easier to find and better categorized.
Open Magazine Settings
Start by navigating to “My Publications”.
Click on the three dots located to the right of the magazine cover, then select “Edit magazine”.
Scroll down to the section labeled “Basic Information”.
Managing Tags
Within the “Basic Information” section, you will see blue rectangles representing the existing tags under each category.
To remove a tag, simply click on the “x” next to it.
To add a new tag, use the input field provided and enter your desired keyword.
Important Guidelines for Tags
Tags should be concise and descriptive.
Use only letters (a–z) and numbers (0–9).
Do not use special characters or symbols.
You can assign up to 20 tags per document.
Why Tags Matter
Well-chosen tags help ensure that your magazine is properly categorized and easily discoverable by your audience- both on Yumpu and through search engines.
