Go to Yumpu

There are 2 options to add a table of contents to your magazine.

Option 1: Table of contents in PDF

You're able to create a TOC / table of contents in your PDF.

If you do so, your magazine table of contents will be rendered automatically by our system. And it can be opened up by clicking on the button at the top left corner:

Note: To open your table of contents up like this, it needs to be created in the PDF.

Option 2: Create your table of contents on Yumpu

With the hotspot editor you can insert links into your magazine which can link to specific pages in your magazine. With those links you can create a table of contents or other navigational elements in your document.

First go to "My publications".

Then click on the little pen icon to edit your magazine.

Go to the "Hotspot Editor" in the left sidebar:

You are now in the so called "Hotspot Editor". Choose the page you want to add the links to on the right side. After that choose the "Navigation" symbol on the left side and drag open the hotspot element on the page.

You can then configure the element on the right side. Choose what the link should do under "Action". With "Tooltip" you can define what text should be shown when the reader hovers over the link with his/her mouse.

You can read how to change the colors of the hotspot here
