Updating to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Effective from July 1, 2023, Google no longer supports the legacy Google Universal Analytics system.
It is therefore essential to update your existing Analytics code to Google Analytics 4 (GA4), as the old codes will cease to function.

This guide explains the steps required to ensure your tracking remains active and accurate.

Step 1: Check Your Account

Visit your account profile settings:

  • If the code begins with “UA-”, it must be replaced with a GA4 code.

Go to your document manager:

  • Open each magazine in edit mode.

  • If the Analytics code starts with “UA-”, replace it with a GA4 code.

Step 3: Check Your WEBKiosk

Inspect your WEBKiosk settings:

  • Click “Tasks” next to your WEBKiosk.

  • Select “Analytics”.

  • If the code starts with “UA-”, update it to GA4.

Take action now to keep your analytics up-to-date.
