How to set up an custom embed

Written by Support Team

After clicking on “Embed” and selecting “Custom Embed”, you can configure the embed according to your preferences.

Go to “My Publications.”

Open the Editor

Click on the pencil icon next to your magazine to open the editing options.

Open the Custom Embed Settings

Click on “Embed” and select “Open Embed Options”

Click on Custom or put custom in the middle with left/right angle brackets and click on Get widget now.

At the top of the page, you will find the generated iFrame code for your embed, which can be copied and used on your website.

Configure the Embed

In the "Basic" tab you can simply chose embed start page and choose your presentation type.

In the “Size” tab you can adjust the width of the embed. The height is adjusted automatically to maintain the aspect ratio.

In the “Style” tab you can customize the appearance of the embed, including the background and other styling attributes.

In the “Tools” tab you can configure various flipping effects and reader interactions, including:

  • Autoflip functionality

  • Available presentation types

  • Menu display behavior

If you set “Show menu briefly” to “Yes”, the slide bar at the bottom and the headline bar will briefly disappear while pages are being flipped.

Example of available presentation types:

In the “Player Elements” tab you can manage the visibility of certain player elements.

Please note that the Table of Contents (TOC) can only be managed if it was included in the original PDF when the magazine was created.

In the “Fullscreen Elements” tab you can enable or disable various options that are available to readers when viewing the publication in fullscreen mode.

Save Your Changes

After making your desired changes, click on the “Save” button.

This ensures that all configurations are applied correctly to your embed.
