How to Create a WEBKiosk on Yumpu

The WEBKiosk feature on Yumpu allows you to showcase your digital publications in a beautifully branded, customizable online kiosk.

This guide explains how to get started.


Note: To create a WEBKiosk, you must have an active WEBKiosk subscription. This feature is not available on the Free plan.


Log into Your Account

Go to www.yumpu.com and sign in using your email and password.


Book a WEBKiosk Subscription

To activate Webkiosk features, you’ll need to upgrade to a WEBKiosk plan.

Visit the pricing page, choose the appropriate package, and complete the upgrade process. Once your subscription is active, the Webkiosk tools will be available in your account.


Create Webkiosk

Log into Your Account

Visit www.yumpu.com and log into your account using your email address and password.

Go to "My Webkiosks"

After logging in, navigate to the "My Webkiosks" section in the main menu. This area provides an overview of all the Webkiosks associated with your account.

Click "Add a Webkiosk"

In the overview section, click the "Add a Webkiosk" button to begin the setup process.

In the form that appears, enter the following information:

  • Title of your Webkiosk

  • Category that best describes your content

  • Language for the Webkiosk interface

  • Kiosk URL — a unique address (e.g., yumpu.com/kiosk/yourbrand)

  • Optionally adjust the Domain field if you're using a custom domain

Click Create to complete the setup.


Preview and Customize

Click the “Tasks” button next to your new Webkiosk and choose “Preview” to see it live.

To change the design, select “Edit Design” and use the drag-and-drop interface. You can choose from several predefined CSS styles or upload your own custom design.

After editing, click Save and Close, then preview again to see the updated design.

For a fully branded appearance, you can book the Corporate Design Add-on. Our professional team will adapt your WEBKiosk to match your corporate identity (based on the information you provide)- visually aligned with your website and branding guidelines.


Create a Collection

Navigate to the Document Manager and click “Create Collection.”

Rename the collection using the menu on the right so it’s easy to identify. You can also create Sections within a collection to better organize your content, for example by topic or document type.

Collections function like digital “shelves” where your magazines are grouped and managed before being added to a Webkiosk.


Add Publications to the Collection

Use drag-and-drop to move your uploaded magazines or documents into the collection. This ensures the content will appear in your Webkiosk once linked.


Link the Collection to a Webkiosk

Click on the menu icon next to your collection and select “Link Collection to Webkiosk.”

If you haven’t created a Webkiosk yet, choose the option to create a new one.


Good to Know

  • A WEBKiosk subscription is required to access this feature

  • You can manage multiple collections and link them to one or more Webkiosks

  • Your Webkiosk is publicly accessible at the URL you defined

  • Layout and design can be changed at any time
