Default Magazine Visibility Settings
Who Can See Your Magazine?
Depending on your account type and when it was created, your magazine’s visibility may vary. Here’s what you need to know:
Free Accounts (created after June 2023)
By default, magazines are set to “Only Me.”
This allows you to test the platform privately before sharing anything publicly.
Paid Accounts & Trial Users
The default visibility is set to “Public,” so your magazines are visible to everyone — but don’t worry, you can always change that.
Adjusting Visibility Settings
(Available only for paid or trial accounts)
Here’s how to update your magazine’s visibility:
Go to “My Publications”
Login: https://www.yumpu.com/en/user/login and open your magazine library.
Click the Three Dots
Next to the magazine’s cover, you’ll find a small 3-dot icon. Click it to access more options.
Choose “Visibility”
This will take you directly to the Visibility Settings panel.
Customize Your Visibility
In the Visibility Settings section:
Click the drop-down menu
This will reveal all available privacy options.
Choose from 9 different settings
Select the one that matches your privacy needs.
Whether you want your magazine fully public or only visible to a select group — you’re in control.
