📊 Google Analytics 4 – Track Your Magazine's Performance

🔄 Universal Analytics Has Been Replaced

Google's Universal Analytics has officially been replaced by Google Analytics 4

(GA4) – and only GA4 is now supported on YUMPU.

⚠️ Note: This feature requires a paid subscription.

📂 Step-by-Step: Add Your GA4 Tracking Code

1️⃣ Go to "My Publications"
👉 Navigate to your account and open the section "My Publications".

✏️ Open Magazine Settings
Click the pen icon on the magazine you'd like to track to open its settings.

📈 Scroll to “Analytics”
In the settings menu, scroll down to the “Analytics” section.

➡️ Paste your Analytics Property Code (e.g., G-XXXXXXX) into the field provided.

💾 Click Save to apply your tracking code.

🔁 Single or Shared Tracking

You can:

  • Use a newly generated GA4 code, or

  • Reuse an existing GA4 code from another magazine

In the latter case, all stats will be combined under one tracking property.

📌 Important

YUMPU no longer supports legacy Universal Analytics tracking codes (like UA-XXXXXX).
Only Google Analytics 4 tracking codes (starting with G-) are accepted.
